A'Dam Toren
Looming tall over the Amsterdam North skyline, this landmark 22-floor tower is home to a selection of bars,
restaurants and a rooftop observation deck with stunning views across Amsterdam. It may look brand new, but
this landmark tower was actually opened in 1971. Following a multi-million euro refit, the A’DAM Tower was
born in early 2016 as one of Amsterdam’s most exciting nightlife and creative hubs.
Amsterdam Light Festival
For 53 days Amsterdam Light Festival brings light to the dark winter months. The artworks are created
especially for the festival and are placed on a route along the canals. Visitors can experience the route
with one of our cruise or walking experiences. For Edition 12, we asked artists to consider the implications
of the accelerated use of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in our everyday lives.
Amsterdam Dance Event 2023
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) takes place every October bringing over 2,500 of the world's biggest and
up-and-coming dance artists to play in venues across the city.ADE also brings music industry professionals
together: connecting musicians, producers, DJs and artists at a massive music conference featuring hundreds
of guest speakers at 450 events taking place across the city. It's five days of guaranteed partying for some
395,000 clubbers.
Eye Film Museum
The striking architecture of the Eye Filmmuseum made it quickly become one of Amsterdam’s modern icons.
Situated on the northern bank of the River IJ, just opposite Central Station, this cinema, film museum,
cafe/restaurant and cutting-edge event location is a must-see. Eye Filmmuseum is free to visit with the I
amsterdam City Card, but for some of the exhibitions there is an additional surcharge.
De Haar Castle
De Haar Castle is the biggest and most luxurious castle in the Netherlands and is one of the top European historic houses. A visit here will take you back to the glory days of the castle and will show you the breathtaking splendour that surrounded the international rich and famous in the early 20th century. It rises like a fairy-tale structure from a park with impressive trees, surrounded by old gardens and ponds.
